Her father is dead, there\u2019s an eviction notice on the door, and her last bounty just got poached out from under her. Desperate for cash, she hacks into <em>Warcross<\/em>, the world\u2019s biggest virtual reality game, only to get caught\u2014in front of the largest viewing public in history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">But instead of throwing her in jail, the game\u2019s billionaire designer\u2014a shy, dreamboat of a guy with a troubled past\u2014reaches out with an offer: Help them tighten up security. There\u2019s another hacker out there, determined to sabotage the global <em>Warcross<\/em> tournament at any cost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And he\u2019s not staying in the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">REVIEW:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">4.5 Stars!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">We will never, ever post spoilers in a review. (Did we say ever? Because we mean <i>ever<\/i>.) So we find ourselves at a loss. We loved <i>Warcross<\/i>, right up until\u2026 and that\u2019s where we\u2019re stuck. Up until we didn\u2019t love it quite as much. Although we still liked it. A lot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">But before that, we <i>loved<\/i> it. As in, we-don\u2019t-need-clean-laundry-reading-is-more-important kind of love. Or, omg-if-this-girl-ends-up-out-on-the-street-we\u2019ll-reach-into-the-pages-and-save-her-ourselves kind of love. Not to mention, did-I-eat-today-I\u2019m-not-sure-I-think-I-might-have-had-some-chips-while-I-was-reading-but-I-don\u2019t-remember-because-<i>omg-this-book<\/i> kind of love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">And then the ending\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Sigh. Can\u2019t talk about that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">But we\u2019re definitely going to read the next one. We still love the main character, and we still want to know what she\u2019s going to do next. We\u2019re still <i>invested<\/i>.
